Anyway, back to the point, for a while, I’ve been meaning to commend you on the work you’ve done compiling info on your thread -> https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=293133 . Good job, because as I said our thread here can sometimes become quite technical and may intimidate those new to HDR and I think your thread does a good service. One thing that you may what to consider though, is that even though I know you don’t mean to disrespect anyone, might be better to change the ‘Dummies’ in the title to something like Newbies or Neophytes.

Just a minor suggestion; otherwise, well done and keep it up.

Thank you for your encouragement and suggestion. I considered changing the Title, but I have referenced it by Title many times on the AVS forum and would be difficult to change now. It generates many positive comments there. I use this thread a lot to my own benefit to keep track of useful information for this dummy.

lol, given the rampant immature tribalism between AV forums, and for that matter, even between threads/subforums on the same forum, be it AVS, Blu-ray.com or whatever, I’d bet you don’t receive many ‘likes’ or ‘thank yous’ for your efforts.

But don’t let the lack of acknowledgment deter your mission …..
for it just emphasizes the close-mindedness of those readers who I think are only interested in expressing their own opinions because nobody at home or at their work listens to what the hell they have to say on a daily basis . I’ll tell you though, the one place I personaly feel powerless in California is once I walk thru the doors of my local DMV even with a so-called ‘appointment’.
