Try trading your games into Tesco in future, the first time I traded some in I got a much better deal than GAME etc were offering, plus if they dont have what your wanting to trade it in against you can get the credit on a gift card. Very useful as the gift card credit is redeemable on the tesco-entertainment site too.

NO is the simple answer to that. I got the original US Alien set, which had exactly the same packaging as this Star Wars set, and it was awful. It's virtually impossible to get the discs in and out without scuffing them, or tearing the delicate semi-circle of cardboard. I sent Alien back to the US and bought the UK set instead.

The US set looks very pretty. But from a practical point of view the UK set is light years better.

URGH. Well it's good that they've made an effort to replicate the theatrical captions but OMG I hate those "US-English Forced" messages at the end. They really spoil the grandness of the credit roll.

No other studio does this. Apparently it's only there as a guide for the mastering house. WTF?!?

I hope there's at least a pause between the "screen to black" and the message. Stupid, stupid Fox!

10/10 for the caption texts. They look part of the film. Very fine job.

The screen goes black & then 'English' pops up for a brief moment before the copyright warnings kick in. Bit strange, but at least it's after the credits (on Ep1 at least, that's the only one i checked.)

And yet, the Holiday Special is not included on the spoofs disc. Lucas is pretty desperate to keep that one buried, lol!

There have been hints (from members of websites invited to the preview at the Ranch) that some, at least, of the Holiday Special may feature as easter eggs...we'll just have to wait and see. I'm always the last to find easter eggs!

While that may be the case, unfortunately Tesco don't price match CEX and trade in blu-s

Yeah, they get the exact same discs in the US. Which is why statements like the one from DVDWorldUSA is pretty laughable.

True, but chris_g was only trading in games against the SW set, which from my experience I have gotten really good trade in prices at Tesco.
As for CEX, sadly I don't live near any stores. I think my nearest one is about 39 miles away, bit of a trek if I was only going for it

I don't have the set so I can't say for certain. I don't think they are though.
All I know is that the 1978 Holiday Special continues to not make an appearence. I've seen it, and it is cr*ptacular, but it's still Star Wars, unfortunately.

I thought there was going to be a little highlight reel showing Family Guy and The Simpsons stuff? Is it a little documentary on spoof section or just separate clips?

If I remember the DVD's had little spoofs at the end of some of the featurettes there was a Mark Hamill bit and a disturbing one when a kid gets a lightsber for Christmas and cuts one of his grandparents in half!

I've got two games that I'd like to trade in. So I checked what HMV trade in price is with the Android app and it lists one at £13 and the other at £6. So if Tesco are as good on their trade in prices as people say I should be expecting at least a £20 discount. Surely they will be the same if not better than HMV?

Agreed. While I am going to have to wait a while for mine to arrive, I'm fine with that. I'd rather wait for the better packaging.

Yeah you should get around £20, touch wood
When I traded in a couple of old games against Apocalypse Now, GAME were offering about £4 each for the two games. Tesco gave me £6.50 each.
