What's the point of this thread anyways? All this is going to turn into is a favorite film list.

I'm not the only one questioning the need for 4K but apparently my disinterest in it really bothers him.

So, there is no need for improvement and progress? Would you prefer that bluray is obsolete and we can all admire four different tones of sky resembling a 8 bit computer game, which streaming often provides? There is always room for improvement , especially with home cinema.
