Well with a father who *****ed/yelled at you all the time. Would you go in? Probably nothing i could of done anyhow.

I don't really like my father because he's loud and rude but if I thought I heard him fall I'd run at top speed to find out what had happened. Especially because he's a rather large individual so when he falls he tends to injure himself.

Yes, I would have. Nothing you can do now but you'll never know now ... if you didn't want to go in you could have at least called 911 and told them your father had fallen and can't get up. I sure hope he doesn't haunt the place, and you, from now on. I presume your dad was in his 40s?

Normally, I wouldn't comment, but what I read was disturbing. I mean, I've had a strained, sometimes even semi-abusive relationship with my family. Still, I take care of them, especially my parents. I've had my own father get abusive, throw a tantrum and berate me, and require assistance a few minutes later. What did I do? I helped him. It's just basic human decency to help (or get help, if you're not capable of it) someone in dire need. I just... I don't know what else to say, honestly.

What I will also say is that I wouldn't be posting things like this because it can be legally damning. I'm not sure if the police, coroner, paramedics, etc. interviewed anyone about what happened, but depending on circumstances, one might be looking at various charges here: elder endangerment, failure to render aid, etc. These posts wouldn't help one's case.

Unfortunately, what happened happened and all parties involved have to live with the choices made. Anyway, let's move on from this.

I just finished cleaning the house and I'm checking e-mails and other accounts online right now.

Still in the process of transferring my old laptop files to my new Macbook that I got for Christmas.

Mac's OS is taking me awhile to get used to (no right click, have to google how to do this and that) so I've been slowly moving files over with my flash drive and it's taking forever.

I'll need to buy an external hard drive in the future though because this macbook has 100gb less space than my old laptop (which I had filled to the max and had to constantly delete stuff)

One thing I dislike about the mac is the "all my files" folder that's permanent.. i hate seeing music files, video files, pics, and documents all together mixed up it makes my OCD go crazy.

Same for me since I tinkered with my work schedule a bit this week. Watching a bit of Sicario on my PS3 Vudu app first since for some reason I can't get ChromeCast to sync with that app on my tablet.
