Just got out of the bath. I've got so much work I have to do on my own since my mom is back in the hospital again. Always something. This situation cannot end soon enough so we can move on and get out of here.

She should be alright, just all the medication is making her diabetes go haywire and almost tossed her into DKA which isn't good, so they wanted to keep her for observation and make sure they get her levels balanced. All of this because of an ignorant doctor from Cleveland jacking her knee up last year. Just adding to the pile of why I hate everything about this place.

Glad to hear she should be alright, but half the time I have little faith in doctors, they seem to cause more harm than good. At least in my family.

On the other hand.... my family can be downright stupid and stubborn about taking care of themselves. So perhaps it's more of a case of Doctor's and my family not mixing well.

I'd still be at the hospital but they put her in a room that's only big enough for one visitor. Like it's shaped almost like a triangle, so by the time you put a bed in there and a chair... No room at all. So Dad is there and I came home to take care of all the mundane things. I just keep face timing with them so I know everything is going alright.

I had an interview at 7am....I got hired at around 7:20am

Apparently I give a killer interview.

So now...on par with this thread's mission statement. I am waiting for the owner of the current job to get in so I can tell him.

He is either going to be a gentleman about it and have me help him for two more weeks, or he is going to blow his stack (as per usual) and I'm going to leave now.

Everybody wins.
