every time i start to feel something like a cold coming on, i start eating bananas and drinking orange juice. it may not stop it, but it definitely helps in the "feel good" department. of course that doesn't really help if it happens while you're asleep and you wake up feeling like crap. but i still do the same thing, just in case it does help.

wrapping up my finger.....

i was bringing my knife in to sharpen (the sheath stays on my backpack, which stays in my truck), and i wasn't paying attention and cut a small chunk out of my middle finger. it's not very deep, but it bled like a stuck pig.

and yes, even though it was sharp enough to cut me with a fairly light hit, i still like my knives to be sharper. i like effortless cutting with all my knives and i try to keep them razor sharp, if i can.

Went to sleep at 530am this morning woke up at 830 and started to play peggle 2 its now almost 2pm knowing I have to be at work from 3 to midnight. So gonna be regretting it damn addictive game!!

Ouch! I've done that before. Still, better with a sharp blade than a dull one!

ain't that the truth.

i've cut myself before with a dull blade. it looked like i'd cut myself with a damn saw. the wound was all jagged, and it hurt like hell.

Was planning on going to see this in 3D, but as this review states "Passengers is a waste of your time and money in 3D, and that's not even taking into account the reaction to the film's content. I work at a grocery store. Should have seen it yesterday. Just about all the carts where gone.
