They help with muscle soreness. Don't forget to stretch & hydrate too!

Oh yeah I stretched today and I drank an extra bottle of water too. Burned about 3000 calories in that run, which included 2 short walking breaks but I'll pretty much call those what would be quick stops at water stations during an actual marathon.

I remember completing my first marathon, it was a very emotional experience with all the other runners around.

I'm thinking it will be emotional for me too. Hopefully there won't be too many of them around when I cross that finish line. Going to try for the same 24 mile run next Sunday but with no walking.

Just got back from my dad/stepmom's house to exchange gifts with my siblings. Had to come home right away though because it's snowing bad. That snow is hard too you can feel it falling on you. almost like hail. Guess we're getting snowed in tonight. Might have to call in to work tomorrow. so I'll prob spend all evening/night watching stuff on the Vudu app on my TV.

I actually like that cheesy movie quite a bit for some reason. Finishing up OTH season 9 on Netflix, wondering what my last day off tomorrow before returning to work on Tuesday will be like.

I miss One Tree Hill. Sucks none of the cast has had a decent career after. Just Sophia Bush who is on Chicago PD now, another great show.

I can see The CW rebooting it like they did 90210/Melrose in 5-10 years with Haley and Nathan's son as a teen, or Brooke's twins as teens. Or maybe they can do both.

It'll never be the same. One Tree Hill itself was never as good after the first 5 seasons. It lost its identity as a show about 2 brothers and basketball, not sure what they were going for in seasons 8 and 9. Kinda why I still say the show was actually a Brooke Davis show and not a Scott brothers show, she's the only character who was in every episode other than Haley.

I'm kind of glad Peyton and Lucas left. They were so overrated. Brooke was kind of a last minute addition to the show. She wasn't even in the pilot if I recall. Funny how she became the show's lead character.

Peyton and Lucas just didn't really work once high school ended so that was fine. The show just didn't know what it wanted to be after season 7, at least the finale was solid if a bit predictable.

I wish the show would get BD-R releases like 90210 is getting.

Heh I'll just keep watching it on Netflix until I can swing purchasing the DVD set again. One Tree Hill, especially seasons 1-4, will always be one of my favourite shows of all-time. Star Trek, Buffy, How I Met Your Mother, Wizards of Waverly Place and Game of Thrones would also be in that conversation.

Mine are prob:

1. Veronica Mars
2. Roseanne
3. Scream Queens
4. Selfie
5. Degrassi: TNG (seasons 1-9ish)

Tried watching Buffy but stopped around mid-season 2-ish. Too dated for me. Plus I hate the two obviously 30 year-olds (Charisma Carpenter and the male friend)

Yeah Buffy is a bit dated, not the best show to jump into if you didn't like it when it was airing. Veronica Mars was good until season 3, then it got a bit average, shame the revival was so weak. Oh right I love Gilmore Girls too, including the revival from Netflix.
