Laundry. Just did the darks, now waiting for the towels to finish so I can put them in the dryer.

Just got back from the library, checked out "Fodor's Travel Guide to Oregon"...gotta admit, going to the library as an adult was kinda fun, they're SO much cooler now.

Haha! I haven't been to a library in probably close to twenty years but I actually loved them as a kid. In fact, the public library in my hometown was like a major hangout spot when I was growing up. I was there all the time looking for books about dinosaurs, space, history, archaeology, etc. and would regularly run into kids from school, on the weekends or over the summer. It was a really nice place, and I was sad to learn recently that there is a potential plan that would see it torn down and replaced with a newly-designed, modern-looking building that will probably look sterile and soulless.

You should check out the boards at Fodors.com and TripAdvisor as well Rage. They've got a lot of stuff including a good forum.
Going to hit up Barnes & Noble and read any? Don't have to buy them but can take one to their cafe and sit.

Listening to MC's Fantasy in Macy's. Got a nice Kenneth Cole bomber on sale from $119 to $59.50. It's INCREDIBLY soft!

Neither had I until recently (when I first got my library card) so you can imagine my surprise when I found our rather well-appointed county library literally right around the corner from my house (like 1.6 miles away).

GREAT idea, it didn't remotely dawn on me that they had such a thing!

About to head out to the car to grab fresh hearing aid batteries and get back to work before I go home at 5. I'm pre-bored for filing.

It was quick, in and out. We actually spent more time talking about my class schedule than we did about my complaint. Also got a clip thingie for my work ID so it was a productive trip to admin.

Oh yeah, TA isn't just reviews. each state has its own subforum on each site. I think the boards are a little harder to find on TA so let me know if you can't locate them.
Was planning on going to B.C. backin Sept, 2014 but never did. Not sure if you have been there before but Oregon and Washington are both beautiful. I lived in Washington for about 4 years when I was younger and haven't been back at all since 1995. Not counting my layovers in Seattle on my way to and from Germany.
Would love to hear about the things you're thinking about regarding the trip. Planning a trip can be a lot of fun but a lot of work. For me the hardest thing is deciding what to do because when you do that, you're also deciding what you're not going to be doing

Nope, never been to the Pacific Northwest so needless to say, I'm really excited about it.

We're still trying to figure out logistics and what's gonna give us the most bang for our buck since we're working off of our year-long vacation budget and don't want to come out of pocket beyond that if possible. That being said, we're looking to stay out there for a week at the end of March and while I'd love to leave out late Friday/early Sunday and bookend it with the weekends, we'll see... we may have to play around with days to fly out to get the best prices on flights. It's all very fluid and somewhat nerve-wracking but I can down with this type of stress over work stress any day, haha.

I love TripAdvisor. Never ventured on their boards but I read reviews others have left and I also review places I’ve been to.

Just finished up a load of whites myself As much as I enjoyed The A-Team series, I also enjoyed the movie. It was a fun popcorn movie. I just need to find a slipcover for mine. Still debating on if I'm double dipping on the Firefly series BD and sell off my previous copy? I know it is only packaging and a little here and there's, but it is definitely prettier.

I'm doing laundry, then packing and supper, then hopping on a late flight.
Gotta go row with the other slaves starting tomorrow.

Thinking I'm having some bourbon and play a little Battlefield. I should probably take a nap while my son is preoccupied instead, but thinking I'll make a mixed bourbon and play a game or maybe watch one of the 2 movies I got from Netflix BD today.

Yeah, while I had some issues with the movie, I enjoyed it for the most part and was glad to see another TV-to-movie adaptation taken seriously instead of just turned into a spoof. The whole pre-title sequence in Mexico, though, felt like pure classic A-Team to me. I grew up on the original series and binged the whole thing in the fall of 2016 before it left Netflix. That was a blast.
