Cool Omega, I was in the Marine Corp for five years and was stationed in Yuma, Az and Iwakuni, Japan. I have been out for quite awhile. Never stationed in California but I did have 30 days OJT at Miramar which was cool. I would like to go back and visit MCRD someday

I am recovering. My gall bladder was removed earlier today and I'm sore. It's a good thing that we got all of the big stuff moved into our new home when we did, I am supposed to take it easy for two whole weeks. I could totally follow Doc's instructions and be really lazy, but there's stuff I wanna do around the new place.

Btw, the staff at the hospital are very caring and considerate and I know that we here are fortunate to have professionals like that!

Glad to hear everything is good. I haven't had to have any part of me removed (except wisdom teeth) and I'm dreading the day I'll have to.

don't overdo it and get yourself sent back in. i know there's things you need/want to do, but don't push yourself too far; it just ain't worth it.
