pretty much.

I look for what the constants are and what the variables are, and what the dependents are, then try and build a mathematical model that takes that into account and spits out numbers for the future, while also spitting out the same numbers that we actually got in the past.

Cleaned up the backyard today, cut down a small over grown tree/bush and got popped by something. I have a 2 inch welt on my forearm, don't think it was a wasp because it didn't sting that much when it happened. Boy it does now though. Sheesh.

mystery solved. They're installing Oculus Rift VR workstations so our engineers can start tinkering with new data visualization ideas.

I used to haaaaaaaaate those.

One time at my old job this lady in Germany thought she was muted and she just goes "I don't feel like speaking English anymore."

That was the highlight of my 7am conference calls


I'm banking more downtime at the new job and I can't wait for my new responsibilities to kick in

yeah. this particular call had folks in Budapest and Mumbai on it, in addition to the staff here in Dallas, New York, and Florida.
