Just registered for the spring term at NMSU, didn't quite get the courses I wanted but at least I got registered. Time for bed, hoping I sleep till 6!

lol why do you hope you sleep till 6? have you been waking up early? I had that problem for awhile where I was waking up earlier than I wanted and having trouble falling back asleep.

my USPS status went from in-process to pre-hire. Now after research all that means is I'm on the list but I could be number one or number fifty. but at least I'm on it.

and now i'm hoping my water heater didn't just die.

found water coming from the water inlet connection. went to the hardware store, got a new hose, and all is well there.

but now, there is water coming from a small hole on the side of the exterior, at the very bottom of the tank. and i'm hoping it's just residual water from under the tank where it was leaking and running down into the pan.

i got most of the water out with a shop-vac and now it doesn't seem to be coming out as much as it was in the beginning. so i'm hoping it's as my original assessment and just residual water.

About to go to the gym, definitely going to do everything I can not to work my legs going into my second 10K tomorrow before Thanksgiving dinner!

Yes it does! Going to start it off right with a 10K in the morning before Thanksgiving Dinner and Cowboys football. Heard half-marathons are quite exhausting, definitely need to take training up a notch before February so I can actually finish without having to walk.

Well that sounds like a wonderful morning you have planned running 10Ks. I'm being sarcastic by the way. It sounds awful

I actually met a girl when I was in Munich who had run a marathon there. This woman flew all the way from Brazil to take part in this marathon in Germany. I met her on a Sunday evening and she had run it that day. Her time actually qualified her for Boston. Normally the story would end there but I always have to go into further detail so I'll just add that she did visit Austria and Spain. So the main reason for going to Europe was the marathon but she did make sure she did other stuff since she traveled so far.
