Actually I did see that movie as well as Wrath of the Titans. Hmm, I knew that Cinderella was a new actress but I don't...
Anyway, yeah you mentioned that Boston would be a great gift from your family. It looks like this year's entry fee was $180. You know how crazy I think that is right? You couldn't pay me $180 to run 26 miles

You could for me. But I guess it depends on what I was running towards.

My flight to Vegas was delayed 4 hours. I wont leave Miami until 12:00 AM so I get there 6:00 AM Miami time or 3:00 AM Vegas time. This REALLY sucks .

For some reason I now stink at treadmill running but as long as I can run marathons, I think I am okay with it.

Gonna have a quick bite then watch Pete's Dragon.
It looked good on a preview and I took a chance and got it.

It's going to be a late night, so I'm trying to figure out what movie to pop in. Do any of you search your movies and for whatever reason can't find anything, yet turn on the tv and find an edited, commercial riddled version of a disc you just passed up, and decide to watch it anyway? There has to be an actual term for this.

Probably, guessing it's demented. My collection is not yet large enough that I have issues picking something to watch. I just tend to have trouble making time to watch what I want, between working full time and working out 5-6 times a week.

Yikes, that 5-6 is a bit consuming, been there with the military but worth every minute. Why do you push yourself so hard, if you don't mind?

Well like (I'm sure I've said it before) I was overweight from about 2004-2011 and that caused me to have diabetes. Then the diabetes ate the fat and I changed my dietary intake. Decided to join a gym June this year and my sister talked me into taking up running. The lifting and running make me feel good and it's good for me too so I think I'll just keep doing it. Goals are - get as fit as possible, run in the Boston Marathon and run in a 50k. Might try an Iron Man someday too but I'd have to improve at swimming first.

Whoa, I get the used to be fat part, but 50k? That sounds like something out of a comic book. Surely that isn't in one day, and if so how on earth to you even begin to convince yourself that's possible? lol man I'm serious.

50k isn't that much further than 26.2 really, it's pretty much tacking on another 10k. I think with more training I could do it, I can already run 20 miles at an 8.5 minute pace and not be that sore 1-2 days later. Should be ready for those marathons I want to run in February and June, kinda insane considering I only started running in July but here I am! Still trying to find nearby 50ks, I would imagine even most marathon people don't do those, if only because they've never heard of them. What boggles my mind is people who do the double Iron Man, which includes 53.2 miles of running, some swimming and biking.

Iron man is fitting, that's beyond my comprehension. My uncle won 1st in his age bracket not too long ago, can't find the actual race so it probably wasn't one of the big name ones'. Well we get what we put in, so chances are you'll find what you're looking for.

I'm surprised it's that low considering it's probably the most well-known marathon event in the world. Then again the real costs of running in that thing aren't the entry fee. They're the plane tickets, the hotel room, the food, the rental car, etc.

Oh yeah of course. When I did my search, I didn't actually click on any of the links but I believe I saw an article talking about the cost and I saw $4,000 mentioned. Yeah I guess it doesn't seem that high since, like you say, it's probably the most famous marathon in the world.
Oh yeah and just googled the Training Day soundtrack so now listening to one of the songs on YT. Of course it's M.O.P.
