Such a waste of time and money. You're not even guaranteed to get the characters. Some dude spent $1200 on the UIR packs and STILL only got 3/4 of the characters.

Having a Die Hard marathon with my daughter, her first time watching them and she's lovin' them - but then again, what isn't there to love about the first three films? ( #4 is alright but not really one of my favorites, #5 is simply an abomination to the series!)

Brushing my teeth, watching Mockingjay 2 and waiting for my brother to show up so I can go eat dinner with him before the gym.

Thanks to your post, I'm saving myself the time and giving up on them. Kinda feel like playing Battlefield anyways.

That is way too much money to spend on packs for characters...

Meanwhile I spent $40 to get this whole armor set in Destiny:

Going to bed now. I need to get up at 7:30am to be at work at 8am. I hate these days when I have to go in extra early.

I mean by all means, you can try. Just know in advance the drop rates suck. You COULD get lucky though. I finally hit re-up 1 today. Re-did levels 1-16 in less than two hours and already amassed 2k credits. I think i'll just save them in case another event happens with characters i actually want, lol.

Trying to adjust from cool SoCal winter temps to frigid teeth chattering North Texas temps. [emoji14] Good to be with family though after being apart for 7 months.

that's the essence of stupidity, right there.

what would posses someone to spend that kind of money on a damn game?

it's bad enough that (new) games cost ~$60. but to spend that kind of money is just....ridiculous.

if you have that kind of money just laying around...i mean it's your money do with it what you will....but still.

hell, i've spend less than that on decent used cars.

That same dude has a room dedicated to Gears of War with over 20k in collectibles. He and his wife bring in the big bucks, needless to say. He's able to afford that AND three kids. So if he's comfortable tossing money around, good for him. He earned it.

But yeah it's god damn stupid to spend money like that on a game where the content is digital and tied to online servers. Once those servers get shut down you can't play the multiplayer or co-op, and you won't be able to see those skins ever again.

one of the reasons i stopped playing swtor. it was fun, but the money i spent was too much for nothing that was tangible.

ot: about to climb up in the attic to try and wire up a chandelier that's been hanging in the living room for a number of years but never connected. my dad hung it up with plans on connecting to a switch, but he never did. sort of a running theme around the house. so now i'm going to try and remedy at least a few of those types of things.

I got stuff to do, but a coffee and surf to start first.
Had a shitty sleep and that's not good on this particular day.
