A friend referred me to be a part of a MLM scheme conference call. He's a good friend and so I'm staying on the line but he said it would take 15 minutes. I'm now entering the second half-hour. I always cringe when people flood their FB pages with their crap so there's no way I'm getting in on this. I'm very seriously considering hanging up. But I might be too nice a guy.

Just finished watching Nightcrawler. How that wasn't nominated or Jake Gyllenhaal wasn't at least nominated is beyond me. Now I'll finish off the last season of Monk.

I get the political part of Oscars. Someone like Streep I know is nominated many times just because of who she is. However many great performances by almost unknown people are nominated every year. Like how much campaigning did Brie Larson really do to win best actress? She was hardly a "name" in Hollywood. The performance that Jake Gyllenhaal put in was truly outstanding in every way.
