and yes, thankfully i only have to buy one tire. the last time i bought tires (january of last year) they were over $1k. but that included the tires, mounting, balancing, and lifetime rotation and balancing. i think when i guy the new tire i'll have them rotate them.

the bad (but also good) thing is they all have air pressure sensors in them. so when you get a flat, the air pressure sensor goes off and you get a warning light on the dash. and the only way to get rid of it is a somewhat complicated process that involves letting a small amount of air out of each tire, starting with a certain tire and going in a clockwise pattern. kind of a pain, but the last time i had a flat, before i got new tires, the shop that fixed that tire did it for me. but it's not an audible warning, just a light on the dash. thankfully i have a full-size spare so i can drive normally; since i can't get it replaced until monday.

this is what it looks like (well, sorta). this is the week i bought it back in 2011. it now has a bug guard on the front, but otherwise this is how it looks

Regarding the air pressure sensor, can't you just get it to go off by putting more air in the tire that's low? I'm assuming this talking about a tire that's just a little low and not punctured like what happened the other day.

unfortunately, no. you have to do the whole thing to get it to go off.

I just called my boss and took tomorrow off. Only had 5 hours PTO (I really need to build this back up) but they let me slide and gave me the day off. So now I'm relaxing in my living room with the fan on, watching The Edge Of Seventeen for the millionth time.

Watched ten minutes of Amy Schumers special on Netflix. Turned it off. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see the humor in repeatedly exclaiming you have a giant, dirty, disgustingly smelly vagina. Then saying "isn't that right ladies?" As if that's a common thing women who take care of themselves deal with. It uh... isn't. If your vagina "on its best day" smells like a barnyard goat, there is something wrong. Either you grossly neglect your hygiene, or you halve a medical condition. Neither of which are traits i find funny or endearing.
