Back at my desk, after spending 15-20 minutes with co-workers watching the eclipse. Only 86.9% coverage and lots of dense cloud cover, but I'll never complain about a break from work.

Just broke up with my (ex) fiancee. I told her I was preparing to enlist in the Army, and she gave me that look and said she was leaving me if I went through with it. I took that as a sign that we weren't meant to be together, even though we've been with each other for over 7 years. Not sure what she has against men in uniform...

Dude, she isn't thinking this through. Steady paycheck, housing etc. 7 years is a long time for any commitment, but on the plus side you will find every size, shape, color and creed on babe in the military. It. Is. Everywhere.
