i was watching a show on tv. this commercial comes on, so i turn to my computer and click on a youtube video. the exact same commercial comes on for the ad at the beginning.

i'm thinking that's either freaky or weird.....that's what i'm doing.

I don't know if you call Columbus Day a big holiday like Easter, Memorial Day. 4th Of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving or Christmas.

I heard In New England or something other place up there. They are now refusing it call it that day. And something else to do with Native Americans instead.

I personally don't but some people (federal workers and most in the banking industry) have the day off for it.

Im going to shower and head to my daughter’s for Thanksgiving Dinner.

And Kip, I think my mom mentioned something about Native Americans Day if you want to be politically correct. She mentioned it because she said there was no mail delivery. I had forgotten that it was a holiday momentarily.

And when I mentioned the politically correct in my last statement, I wasn't talking to you or suggesting that you be PC. Those were my mom's words to me. She was saying how that's an alternate term to use if you want to be PC

I believe it was Baltimore, but the so called "PC correct" Indigenous Peoples' Day started in California decades ago.

Hung out with my mom for awhile earlier today. We took a nice drive and then went to Walmart and then to Five Guys. She had to come down to San Jose to drop my dad off for an appointment early in the morning. He's having some surgery done with his teeth and she had to go back early to sit with him while he was in recovery. If she hadn't had to go back early, we would have spent more time together. They have been divorced for 38 years so this is something that she did only as a favor for my dad.

Anyway, full on Five Guys but thinking I could actually probably eat another cheeseburger. I don't know how that could be. Edit: You know, I could go for a mocha frappe/Frappuccino and since they're cheaper at McDonalds, and better (more chocolate flavor than coffee), I may go get one
