Currently pissing my day away. Got woke up to let the dog out that I tried to let out an hour before. So got up and grabbed food for the house. Been doing a little back and forth with friends. Been drinking whiskey and the original plan was to switch to beer, but might have had one mixed drink too much. And now I'm thinking I might just call it a day. Was up too late and up too early...Probably should have lead with that one

I do all the cooking around here, my Lady's definition of cooking dinner is picking up the phone and ordering take out. I've been trying to teach the kid to cook, although she hasn't shown any interest in wanting to learn.

See, I'm the stay at home parent and she's the breadwinner. She made better vocational decisions than I did. So I take care of our son, wash the clothes, clean the house, etc, but this is the one thing I'm a "traditional" guy about. Do I feel bad that she works all day and comes home and makes dinner? Sure, I'm not a monster. I'm just a monster who expects a hot meal on the table

Currently having a bout with insomnia. Debating on if I'm going to try to go to sleep one more time or just make a cup of coffee and power through. The Mrs was sweet and suggested I try to go see Black Panther before I head to my comic con in a few days. Not sure how that's going to happen, giving her work schedule though? I was planning on going and seeing it in Seattle at the Cinerama one of the nights if I didn't see it this weekend.

We got in last night and went for supper at my parents in-laws place and visited the newest grandchild for a bit.
I missed the end of the hockey game, which turned out to have another crazy finish, damn.
We're staying at a B&B and it's very nice. I wanna move in, hahaha!
My wife is doing the walk-in at her apartment in a couple of hours and then we're gonna start moving some stuff in from storage.

Yeah, whoever the Puyallup Nation hired to maintain the house across the street's yard decided that 0800 was a great time to start mowing

The Mrs reminded me I need to take care of a bill this week. So might take care of that today. Sun finally made an appearance and I'm sitting here drinking another cup of coffee. Let's see how long it takes this kid to eat a McGriddle sandwich
