Everyone I'm talking about is 30 and over. Only three of my friends have kids. We're a ragtag group of uncommitted folk.

Oh, those type of people. Seem like the type to drag a kid to a movie theater they wanna see, cause they're too cheap to pay for a sitter and wanna annoy everyone's good times. But no surprise those people will be grandmothers before their 35th birthday.

I didn't go to school with most of my friends.

I either know them by chance, hobby, or through art communities.

Still, most of them don't have kids yet. I think they are too busy drinking and complaining on their facebook about their lack of (insert money, job, prospect here). Kinda sad really.

My and a few then friends would take our parents liquor and drink them. I remembered I chugged half a bottle of this huge bottle of Vodka straight up. My throat and stomach burned like hell let me tell you that.

I remember the exact age I was and where. I was 12 on a cruise ship going to the Bahamas. My mom let me have one of those pina coladas that were inside a coconut. It was the year Titanic came out and I was outside doing the king of the world stance ...but more cool as there was a heavy rain storm going on.

Mostly drinking makes me find life even more humorous.

I don't know, but sometimes you might out grow that. I know I did. Or atleast once I turned 21 I saw no point in drinking cause i've done so much before. Last time I had a drink was a at a party last year, and that's only cause it was a 4th of July party. But when they have kids at home it's just mainly stupidity on their part. Ones I'm guessing aren't the best to be suited as parents. Seeing how they can barely take care of themselves, none the less a child or two.

I really don't like the taste of beer. I remember one time a while ago me and some friends were bar hopping from atleast 3 bars. Then come back to the persons house and we were still thirsty. So we stood in his driveway, it was summer by the way. And he said he had some Mike's Hard Lemonade, but it was warm. But we drank them anyway. So is being goofy, we went to a elementary school that was near by and we started playing on the equipment. Let me say one thing, never drink warm malt liquor. I found that out the hard way, cause after a while I felt sick and puked my guts out all over the stuff there. But don't worry, that's not the worst thing to ever happen to those things. That's an different story for a different time.

But when drinking people say it tends to make me more quieter. Just sitting there watching everyone not saying or doing a thing.

I'm not a beer drinking gal. If I do have a drink, it's some kind of themed mixed concoction. I think the last time I had a drink was 5 years ago on my birthday. It's just not something I can get behind. I can't get into wine either. I wouldn't mind recreating the good parts of Sideways by driving around wine country and trying some stuff, but I have yet to find a wine I find enjoyable.

I don't think I've ever had wine before. I know my friends and even mom drink Lager. And some other stronger stuff in bottles.

God, I miss being 19-20 because I used to sneak in the bars and it was so much fun. Now it's boring.
I don't know is it? I think had the 4th of July party I was at they had a varieties of Smirnoff flavors. I believe Sour Apple was one, and some kind of berry one.

Sometimes nothing wrong with a fruity drink, cause they like the taste of it. Doesn't mean they're actually fruity. hence here. J.D. Loves Appletinis

You miss 3 or 4 years ago of your life? Wait til it's atleast 10 or 15 years.
I wish I was back in High School. I even take 8th grade, but with the stuff i know that.

I liked Wine Coolers. I remember those were the big things when i was younger. Almost everything but beer taste better.

14-18 were the peek of my years, and after that I just kinda flopped into a nose of depression kinda. I actually had friends and hung out and went places.

Still time to change that and make it even better then it was before.

And now i'm going to bed, seeing how it's 3am.

I don't know who you are, but you and your friends are a wise group of people

but being uncommitted doesn't mean you're a drunk, let's be sure to clarify that I rarely drink. My priorities are my career, my money, myself and my health. Alcohol doesn't help with any of those

and for the love of god did this thread get depressing in a heartbeat

if some of you want to talk about the "good old days" of freaking middle school / high school please PM each other to death with that stuff, not fill up the "what are you doing right now?" thread with post about "woe is me right now"
