lol oh damn, I mean I'm 33. See that's my memory going bad on me
The violence was everyday at one stage but thankfully not now and we live in relative peace.
If you can enjoy yourself without drink then I don't think it matters where in the world you are but of course a lot of the spare time is based around the pubs.
The scenery is spectacular, pity your not doing the north coast to Portrush but no matter where you go you will be impressed and the people friendly.
I have no doubt you will have a ball but be prepared for some rain!

You probably don't need it that bad, but if you absolutely HAD to have some Vanilla Coke, I could pick some up and send it to you. Of course the shipping would kind of kill it but I would be happy to help you out.
In exchange, maybe you can let me stay at your place when I do get to NI. I can do some chores around the house, feed the pigs or sheep, milk some cows. I can learn how to do that. I'll google it. Maybe you have a nice sister I can take out. It will be great
I don't have a sister,if I did you could have her for a box of vanilla coke and some Bud light.

I see your location is San Jose,I went there to watch a soccer match in 2002 against the Galaxy.

Ireland is not a all out drinking nation the way the rest of the world see us, just the way we don't see all americans as fat and stupid

haha sounds good I'm sure I'll have a great time. About the only thing I know right now is that I'll be flying into Dublin and probably spend a couple days there and then head south and west. I want to spend more time in the smaller towns. I'll definitely have an umbrella with me as well. Is the weather in NI that much different from the Republic? How is September? From what I've heard it's not that bad but like you said, just be prepared to get some rain.

Oh no tob, we're pretty much all fat and stupid

I would say Ireland as a whole is wet but the further south you go I think would be slightly better,as it is with England and France but with a bit less sunshine.
TEST:How's the weather been in Cork today tob? It's pissed all day here.

I've always wanted to travel to Ireland, England, and Germany. Hopefully I'll get to do that in the near future.

I was bloomed in Florida. I'm currently in Ohio since that's where all my family is located at. They are thinking about going back to Florida though due to the cold weather here and lack of surf.

I've stayed for extended periods in places like South Carolina, Hawaii and California. It was more just a long vacation..but I was there for summers/months at a time.

One of the reasons I wanna get out aswell. I would love to live in Hawaii and California. But I suppose one could get sick of living there after so long. All i've never known is currently where I'm at.

Might have to wish upon a falling star to make that plan happen eventually. Wish I may, wish I might.

Hawaii can get boring since there isn't anything but the novelty of the islands.

Where were you located at? But I guess if you don't tire of the beach it's okay for some.

Hanalei.

I love the beach, but I can get bored with something easily when thats all there is. There's some beautiful beaches in Britian. You get sand...and Shakespeare.

Anglophile to the max....

I don't even know where that is.

I'm sure there are plenty of other people who'd like to be beach bums though. Isn't it always usually code over there though in the UK or whatever. Or is that something totally untrue.

It gets up in the 70's during the summer. It doesn't get hot the way it does here though, no.

I tried the beach bum thing for the last time for a few months in South Carolina in the Surfside Beach area. I stayed at hotel/apartment type place that was right on the beach and I can't say I hated waking up to the waves crashing against the wood beams, but it also got tiresome. As my mom would say, I'm an in the moment kind of person so I'm amused for only short bursts. Hawaii is great for hiking, waterfalls, beaches (except the sharks) and general experience of their culture but it isn't really something that truly embodies everything that I desire to be around. It's kind of weird I know but hey...
