Contrary to popular belief, it is also a great movie. Though, it needs a sequel to flesh out its ideas.
I agree completely!
And yeah, I hope that Ridley does a sequel!

On topic, I am watching Red Sox/Yankees game on tv. I was watching the Black Hawks/Kings game, but lost interest after it went 4-0.

Going there for a Cubs/Braves game in September. Also going there in July for a White Sox/Braves game, but I'm going cheap for that one and staying between the city and St Louis, driving in the day of and out after.

Holy crap, July is next month.

Trying to visit all of the stadiums.

Already visited 7 (Atlanta, Baltimore, Cleveland, Kansas City, St Louis, Tampa Bay, Toronto). Hitting both the Chicago stadiums for Braves games, as well as 2 each in KC and St Louis.

Next year I get a 3-week sabbatical from work, so I'm planning a trip up to the Northeast where I'll try and see both New York teams, Boston, Philly and Washington. That would put me at almost half the stadiums.

It is a pretty sweet perk. Technically it's 4 weeks off, but one week has to be for personal or company development (volunteering, recruiting, certification). You get it after 7 years and then again every 6 years. At the 19th year, it moves to 6 weeks (with 1.5 for development). And it's in addition to the regular vacation (3 weeks for the next few years, 4 weeks after 10 years employment), though it does have to be taken consecutively.

I can't even do that. I mean I can. Just nowhere hiring at the moment.

But sorry, don't wanna make this thread about me.

What I'm doing at the moment is looking at stuff on the net with the fan blasting full force at me to keep cool.

Yeah. 4 years for my Bachelor's.

Aren't you moving out to Hollywood to be a famous director or something? You'll have to remember us little people then.

I don't know much about computers, just the basic stuff really.

LOL. Yeah. Atleast that's what I wanna do, just need to find a job to save up some money for the eventual move there. It's screenwriter actually. Don't worry I'll come back here and give everyone free autographed copies.

Do you get only 3 weeks of vacation in the US?
Does this include days off during Christmas, Easter, etc. or 3 weeks in total for everything?

That's kinda stupid :S.

Here people get like 4 to 7 weeks + Christmas, Easter, Queens Day, May 4 & 5 (WW2 memoral days), etc. days off.

And you don't have to work 19 years for that lol.

8 holidays (New Year's, Memorial, Independence, Labor, Thanksgiving + Friday after, Christmas Eve and Christmas) + 1 personal day + 2, 3 or 4 weeks depending on experience.

But the US has no requirement on paid vacation like many other countries do.
