i would have expected filming to be almost wrapped up by.... -_- beginning of writing.. wth -_-

What all do they have to write, the story is already in place due to the book.

They have to "improve" the story for film, just like they had to "improve" the Lord of the Rings books for film.

They also need to write a bridge story for the 2nd film. Not thrilled about stretching it into 2 films but if PJ is at the helm, I'll trust his judgement.
