Enjoyed it, and was actually surprised they stuck as closely to the book as they did as

[Show spoiler] I was sure they would try to keep JL as front & center as possible, and for that they would have had to put her in the rescue squad somehow.

Glad they didn't.

I understand the disappointments though. the picture overall was very bleak (it lacked the vibrant colors seen in the Hunger Games arenas) ad the action was severely limited. That was due to the very nature of the story though, which is a build up to the action pack finale throw down.

Glad also that they cut the film where they did, pretty much exactly where I expected it although

[Show spoiler]I more or less was expecting them to cut at Peeta strangling her, trying to put the maximum suspense on the cliffhanger Probably for naught though, as nobody would expect the Mockingjay to die before the grand finale,

so again probably a good choice there as well.

It does get old when it leads to one of my favorite threads being closed. Her gifs have gotten pretty boring, I put mbf on block but that doesn't mean he and likeminded people are still not polluting the forum with stupidity.

Honestly, and not to be rude on my part, if you have an aversion to a particular user's posts (keeping in mind there is nothing offensive in their posts) that is your problem.

If stupidity of posts (which is very subjective) was a criteria for locking threads, suspending users, or deleting posts then half of the site would be shut down.

After not wanting to see this film after all the negative reviews, I finally went to go see it and I thought this was the best one yet!

Great story and very intense from beginning to end. Peeta and Snow were damn scary in this as well! Cool cliffhanger ending as well!

Jennifer Lawrence - there's no other actress her age with her skills and screen presence. Such a pro!

I think it's the best one yet too. I've been thinking about it, and the intensity level is off the charts.

It's my opinion that some of the less than positive opinions were simply driven by the fact that it isn't one slam-dunk action sequence after another. Just my opinion.

I think it has too due with a few things. It's not as much action packed as the others. No Games, and that it's a part 1. So I know that has alot of people irked. Basically saying "nothing happens for 2 hours"

This one is more about the characters and the stuff they've been put through.
