Plenty. There are people who dislike Bale, Cooper, and even Adams.

And just as many that could dislike Lawrence.

I'm sure we can all agree on the fact that Jennifer does have a large following who are willing to watch every single movie she's in

Eh.

There are still 3-4 of her films I haven't seen. But of the ones which I have, she's never let me down.

Wait. That's not true. The House at the End of the Street was pretty bad. But that was hardly her fault. The other 8-9 films of hers I have seen, though, were all good-to-excellent.

I didn't think she was all that great in that movie, but I guess that's because of the script she was working with.

Don't get me wrong, she's great. She just gets a lot of attention for being quirky which gets a bit annoying. Winter's Bone and Catching Fire are some of my favorite movies to come out in the past couple years though.

Yeah, I don't think she was great in it either. But like you say, the material ... I'm not sure that a young Liz Taylor could have done much better, tbh.

Of course she gets a lot of attention. People flock to her movies in droves. People tend to like her personality. She's funny. And she's beautiful.

With all those credentials, how else could it possibly work out?

Oh, now it's gonna be that thread now? One to say she's not as great as others make it out to be? Or even other actresses that deserve more attention of the Indie kind?

You people are acting as people don't appear in not so great films from time to time.

But I'm just leaving it at that. Mainly cause I know Big Brother is watching among other people. They know who they are.

One ones are those?

I like HATES And own it on Blu Ray. To me it is what it is. Not my fave out of her catalog.

I have yet to see:

Poker House
Burning Plain (all the way through, anyways)
Like Crazy
The Beaver
The Devil You Know

So, I guess that's actually 5.

As to The House ..., I just didn't think it managed to accomplish what it was trying to do. At least, I didn't think it did it well. I like those sorts of flicks. But that one just let me down.

I've seen all those movies. Well, except The Devil You Know. And I heard she's only in it for a brief flash. I have The Beaver on DVD. I bought it at a closing Blockbuster years ago. I still need to pick up The Poker House, Burning Plain and Like Crazy. (Even if i didn't care much for the film. And she's only in it for like 10-15 mins) Still need it for the collection. The Poker House is only available in the states on DVD. Unless you import the blu from another country.

There's also 3 seasons of the The Bill Engval sitcom she did on TBS before she got Winter's Bone shortly after it was canceled. So gotta pick those 3 seasons up aswell.

I guess I like crap stuff. I will admit it could have been better. But i don't think its a total stinker.

I don't do sitcoms. Well, not entirely true: I watch repeats of both "Big Bang Theory" and "Modern Family" in the background. Other than that, though ....
