Personally, Taylor is WAY scarier.
Oh, don't mistake her goofiness for a weakness. Jen can be dark and intense. Just watch SLP and Winter's Bone.

C'mon we can't compare JLaw and TSwift. They're both great
Have you seen Swift leaving a gym?

I've always had a thing for Julianne Moore. Scrumptious ginger goodness.

As for the revews, I read another in the British press today, and aside from the typical moaning about splitting the movie in two it's as we suspected:
[Show spoiler]the movie really is about poor old Katniss wandering around trying to get her head straight, just like the first half of the book. And with a mention of a graphic strangulation scene we should all know what that refers to, and with the score listings it's blatantly obvious that the movie will finish with Peeta throttling Katniss and that the District 8 bombing before that will basically be the film's big action sequence. (The shots of a dam being flooded in the trailers are mentioned in the book, it's District 7's punishment and isn't part of the film's main narrative. I think.)

I've read the book again and literally halfway through there is a very natural break in the story which would've been an ideal place to split the movie if they didn't want a cliffhanger. After Peeta goes medieval on her ass, Katniss recovers (physically, anyway) and then the rebels take on the Nut. Right at the end of the chapter Katniss realises that she can't live in the same environment as Peeta because it's killing her inside, so she says "take me to two". BAM, cut to black.

After reading the reviews I think it'll be a very tough ask for this break $400m like the others. The critics are very apathetic (if not downright hostile) towards the whole splitting thing and the lack of action may not garner the repeat performances that the other two movies got. But if it does another $150m weekend (doubtful) then it'll have every chance of the big four-oh-oh.

Taylor Swift Drinking Game --

Play a Taylor Swift song. Take a shot every time she says the words, "I" or "me".

You'll be dead by the end of the song.

I think that the crowd won't care, honestly. I do know what you're saying, believe me. And I think that it would have made a better film in just one part. But looking at those pics from the UK premiere, I doubt the main audience really cares what the critics are saying.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to it. The "Variety" review has me pumped up, and I'm always up for some J-Law.

Let's face it: It's a difficult book to bring to screen, especially after the first two. If it's even reasonably fun it's a huge success. Collins really impressed me. I was just expecting some silly YA series that didn't go anywhere. That's not what this is.

We'll see. I think it's going to make gargantuan money. But then, I thought Interstellar would beat the animated movie, so maybe I'm not the best one to ask.

Wonder what the exclusive will be this time around. They botched the first 2 by making the first G2 sized, and Catching Fire G1 sized. What's next? CD sized?
