I've been Humming The Hanging Tree the last few hours since I got out the theater.

The last 20 minutes or so I had pure chills all over my body. Now that might have either been due to be being so emerged into the film. Or i was physically cold because it was cold in the theater. Either way what a feeling.

[Show spoiler]I loved the rebellion scenes like the part in the trees and at the water damn that provided the electricity.

[Show spoiler]Other scenes that had such emotion behind them was when Katniss first returned home and she saw the skull on the ground and the remains of District 12 and the sad look on her face. Also all the parts from District 8 after the hospital gets blown up. Chills again.

[Show spoiler]During the last 5 minutes I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. And when Peeta attacked Katniss and was choking her almost to death I was like HOLY CRAP! Then after Boggs hate Peeta and the screen went black I thought that was going to be the end but it didn't
So does anything happen to Katniss' vocal chords or she'll be fine. I felt so sad seeing her like that.

OH THE FEELS!!!!!!!!! After it got done I just watched to watch part 2! Is it November 20th 2015, yet?! (Which is oddly enough my younger half sisters birthday)

Also I stayed to see the end credits thing. I love how it basically almost exploded off the screen. I saw it at a Regal with RPX. The ticket was $14 for a matinee. But i had movie money for $13, so I only ended up paying a $1. They want $5 more for RPX than a regular matinee. the seats were a bit uncomfortable though. Plus they were made of leather and if you moved around it made this squeaking noises.

But to sum it up LOVE IT! 5 Jen's out of 5 I know you're thinking that's just the J-Law fanboy in you. And that might be right. But I loved it!I'll be seeing it again next weekend when I see Horrible Bosses 2. And maybe more after that who knows. I have to see what comes out in December. What I wanna see don't come out to the last week or two in December. So I might have the first few weeks cleared up. Jennifer

Told ya. It was so difficult not to spoil anything. Seriously, there's always something interesting going on in this film every few minutes. As I've said, it's the most complete HG movie we've had so far, and I loved every minute of it. Yes, even the Gale scenes.

So glad you enjoyed it like I knew you would, J-Law favoritism aside.

The Hanging Tree will be as awesome as the GOTG soundtrack. Bank on it.

Yes you couldn't take your eyes off the screen! It kept my attention for the almost 2 hours. Never a dull moment. Always something there. You team Gale?

What can I say? I'm just following the Law.

Then the numbers would be MUCH lower since technically, there were early screenings and premieres.

And for the first time since GotG, I saw a new release on opening day, so yes, I am a real fan. Only I haven't read the books.

Not glamorous as we're used to seeing her, and she was used sparingly here or there. Haymitch I think had less screentime if that matters. She was a good symbol of hope by giving advice to Katniss if anything.

Yeah, since I knew nothing from the novel, I had wanted that character to have more screentime, but I guess

[Show spoiler]Johanna and Natalie Dormer's characters will be the female badasses standing next to and fighting with Katniss in Part 2

. And that alone, my friends, is worth the price of admission.
