ah, if the stream was SDR then I guess that could explain it as they sometimes try to do a trace of filtering of brights if UHD makes the grain look unnaturally extreme (that said there should be more specially targeted ways to do this and just blanket lowpass every part of every frame, but movie studios tend to be somewaht more archaic in what they do)

iTunes stream is now 4K Dolby Vision. No longer SDR. When it was SDR, it was definitely showing more grain than both the disc and the upgraded stream.

I would say 70% of 4K UHD have some sort of grain management / filtering applied that makes the grain look less pronounced than the BD counterpart (Paramount / Universal / Disney).

Luma High +6 and Luma mid +4. Have both values by default at +2 on my UB820 hanging on the Panny OLED. Didn't thought that these values work here. But if you say that it works

On the other hand, it is so that the Luma control on the UB820 works very well anyway.

I sold mine for $250 earlier this month. I bought Mr Smith Goes To Washington separately on eBay. That’s the one I wanted most. The biggest draw in the set is obviously Lawrence. I’m fine with the Blu-ray box and Blu-ray’s for the rest of the films. I also included the faulty and corrected features disc for Lawrence.

I’ve been trying to sell big ticket items I have before the year is out and the new $600 limit goes into effect for the IRS for 2022.

Like no tax on Amazon all good things come to an end.

Seems inevitable to me since they've already started releasing films from the set individually, 2022 is the 60th anniversary which is probably what they've been saving it for, and it's not like there isn't an audience for it.
