In Germany, Sony typically only releases the 4k discs with the actual film for catalog titles, not the blu-rays or any additional special features discs, which means incomplete packages but lower prices.
Amazon is selling Gandhi 4k for € 16,49, and that’s nothing but the two 4k discs, same as LOA, so the price should be about that. Its actually a good way to upgrade. I just buy the german disc and put the blu-rays inside paper envelopes and those inside the 4k box.

Ok, I see. Personally I'd also be ok with only getting the 4K disc and not the blu-ray or additional features, if the price is that much lower.

If this means the Germans will be able to get LOA this way for €16,99 including shipping directly when it becomes available as a single release then that's a really good deal. Lucky basterdz!

Heck of it is, people otherwise complain that we're too serious, too nitpicky, too obsessed with technical minutiae. Then there's yourself and others who complain that we're too goofy, too irreverent and are ultimately irrelevant. Ah well, you can't please all of the people all of the time.
