Extremely excited to finally get confirmation that this is happening! For anyone concerned about this film being crammed onto a single disc, it'll be fine. Even if it were another company instead of Criterion, or if it were coming out in the uk france or germany, no one will split this across two discs. There are many longer films out there that have been given single discs releases, including from Criterion, and most look great. It all depends on the care given. Criterion will care, and do it right, even if the material isn't going to be given a 4k release.

My parents LOVED this movie!

They saw a theatrical screening by a friend and got a free trial of Netflix just so they could see it again so this will be a wonderful addition to have in their collection.

Great to see Netflix still embracing physical media.

I can't wait for the big Netflix "N" to be snuck into the "n" of "Irishman" on the cover.

It's only a month into actual 2020 and Criterion is on an INSANE roll this year. So far, we already have official releases of "Roma", "All About My Mother" and "The Grand Budapest Hotel", they have their NEON deal with "Portrait of a Lady on Fire" and now Netflix officially confirms "The Irishman", as well as "Marriage Story". I honestly am on pins and needles to see what else Criterion does this year and what other Netflix movies this means could see releases.
