I saw Hobbit in 3D HFR but was not overly impressed did not feel like a movie to me, was wondering if 4K HDR is part of the equation of the "amazing picture" everyone is talking about

60fps Trailer is a YouTube channel with loads of movie trailers at 60fps

I agree that's an uptick in detail and clarity, reminds me of the Hobbit it has that feel. True native 60fps in 4K HDR must look amazing, I'm def curious to see it but I tend to agree with those that are saying it messes with the movie experience that's what I took away from the Hobbit

It didn't take anything away from my experience. If anything, it only enhanced it. If you own a 4K HDR set, then you owe it to yourself to watch this movie.

Those trailers in 60fps are just a glimpse of what can be done with HDR + HFR combined. No it does not look like a film the way we have come to generalize the way film must look... it looks like the future, and the future is knocking at the door
