I have an SDR Sony and the samsung player, it plays UHD's fine in SDR.
Question will my TV support the 60fps?, I think I read it did but not sure. Even without the HDR the 4k/HFR combo should look awesome, in case Hobbit comes out in HFR ![]() |

If you have a Sony 4K TV then it will support 60p 4K signals.

I bought it as a demo disc only. I don't care for HFR personally, but it's an interesting example of exactly what the new UHD format can do when I'm showing people my setup.
Hate the film. Most Ang Lee films just don't seem to resonate with me, for whatever reason. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is the one exception; loved that one. And Life of Pi was an enjoyable watch, though I have to be in the right mood. |

You claimed to have purchased this almost a week ago. Why haven't you watched it yet?

![]() I've never seen HFR before. This movie was pretty mediocre but I'd like to see HFR... Last edited by Dreamliner330; 02-28-2017 at 03:27 AM. |

That is a very subjective question. Films have always been intended to look as close as reality as possible and the only factors to prevent that are technology and finances. Just like we want colors and shadows to be as close as possible to the real world so should go for motion
