In Vader's tone : I find the lack of posts which relates to "green tint" in these last few pages to be very disturbing.

That is b/c the mods politely asked everyone to refrain from that debate until any further information is released from the studio and or Jackson/Lesne

Which was a wise move actually and infact, the mods should have done it the moment the pages reaches 200+ max..anyways, glad it has come to a stop.

Man I still have had only enough time to watch Fellowship... So TT and RotK are still sitting unwatched... Man I'm glad I'm on vacation next week... hopefully I can make a few hours to finish out the series...

Nope.

This is what he said….

Which challenges anyone to contribute something original related to the issue of the green tint.

The latter one has a wider head.

I think you guys are right. I never noticed that he does indeed have a different staff after he escapes from Orthanc. I also never noticed that he stores his pipe in the top of his staff:

I do still find it a little odd that Gandalf the White still appears to have the exact same staff at the Grey Havens as the one the Witch King exploded in Minas Tirith.

I just started my second viewing of the set. I decided to turn on the 240hz AMP this time round to see what happens. Maybe I can see some stuff I've never seen before.

Watched Fellowship last night.... as I sat there, seeing it as I've never seen it before, seeing it look better than its ever looked before, seeing things I never noticed in my previous 100+ viewings all I could think to myself was... "This isn't good enough for some people?"

"Good enough" isn't the criteria for excellence in Blu-ray. It might have been for VHS and DVD, but... we have the technology.

Notice what I said prior to saying "this isn't good enough for some people"... Oh and thank you for the quick reminder of why I stopped posting on this forum, I shall return to that now.

I just finished Fellowship of the Ring this morning (started it last night but then I was too tired to finish :P ) and it does look amazing, although I definitely did notice it looking a little too green at some parts :/

It would be nice if Peter Jackson himself shed some light on the whole green tint issue.

But i do think him signing some of the copies is "almost" a clear indication that he has approved the blu ray transfer. Otherwise i don't think he would sign them
