I still don't understand how that Starkiller base can work, assuming it cannot "travel" like the death Star. It's kinda ackward to have to wait for the proper alignment and shoot a damn laser across the galaxy.

I was young when it came out, and I remember having the same reaction in the middle of a Barnes & Noble. Even then I was adverse to having things spoiled for me. It was so disappointing!

[Show spoiler]It's not like this is the only Star Wars film they're making. It's very obvious that it's exactly what is going to happen. People need to stop treating 7 like its the only Star Wars film ever being released. It's the first part of a trilogy. People are walking around, expecting Luke and Kylo to have some incredible duel, and it's just like... Why? What the heck would they do for the next two films?

Han dying or Luke going dark side are the most cliche and expected story developments, so seeing them happen would be a big eye roll. They might still pull out a good movie, but it would just be kind of lame.
