In Dark Empire which takes place 10 years after the battle on Endor Palapatine had returned, Luke knew that in order to destroy him he would have to turn, but he counted on Leia to do for him what he did for his father. Luke trained Leia specifically to turn him back. Together they destroy Palpatine for good.

I don't really care what the "EU" did, to be blunt. And if the "EU" made Luke a villain then I would say it was equally poor writing and cliche.

It didnt make him a Villain Jesus learn 2 read, He trained Leia with the express purpose of turning to finally defeat the darkside which he and Leia did together.

They are going to want to leave their mark on this trilogy. They are going to have to do something epic (and probably over the top) to do so. Hopefully they won't put too much effort into their plot twists.

The reason Lucasfilm has not asked for the concept art to be taken down is that it hasn't been posted. The latest stuff anyways. I can guarantee you the art is genuine. But again, there was concept art for Han Solo in Revenge of the Sith but it never made it to the film. This may be the case here as well.

The only website that has been known for reporting lies about the Star Wars films has always been Supershadow. I have no doubt that some of these rumors that have been getting reported are going to end up being proven as true. But, with the "NSA-type" security that has enveloped this film, I don't want to see it because of the blatant lies that Kathleen Kennedy told about how news and information about the new Star Wars would be treated.

I'm just disappointed with Kathleen Kennedy because J.J. Abrams seems to have given her a snowjob regarding how he thinks news should be handled with his usual "no news is good news" approach.

Did you read AICN from 1997 - 2005?

I have no doubt that some of these rumors that have been getting reported are going to end up being proven as true. But, with the "NSA-type" security that has enveloped this film, I don't want to see it because of the blatant lies that Kathleen Kennedy told about how news and information about the new Star Wars would be treated.

I don't view AICN as a valid source of factual information, the way as I don't view WIKIPEDIA as a valid resource tool. Far as Kathleen Kennedy goes, she said back before production commenced, that J.J. Abrams wouldn't be able to hold the same level of top secrecy on Star Wars Episode VII, as he has on previous films.

Not only did Kathleen Kennedy lie to the fans about that but she has totally embraced J.J. Abrams neurotic behavior. At this point, while we wouldn't have detailed information, there would be behind the scenes photos, possibly a brief paragraph or two about what the film would be about. Instead? We got nothing, except photos from that spy drone that was leaked of the Millenium Falcon and that Rebel fighter. J.J. got so paranoid that he actually purchased an anti-drone stealth vehicle that would block or prevent future photos from being taken.

Nothing has been released from Lucasfilm other than "we are filming Star Wars Episode VII". Hell, nobody even knows what roles the cast are playing, outside the original cast from the original trilogy. One look at the IMDB page tells the whole story. Abrams is so neurotically paranoid, that he isn't revealing ANY information about the film.

Even if Lucasfilm isn't ready to release information about the plot, you would think that the actors and actresses and the roles they are portraying in the film wouldn't be on the level of National Security.

My goodness, the film is STILL SHOOTING! What do you want at this point in the film's evolution? The screenplay? Calling Kennedy a liar is crazy premature.

I seem to recall a ton of photos from the Tunisia set, a cast read-through, and a video with JJ asking for charitable donations with a puppet street vendor behind him, and another video of an X-Wing, and a third video of the under-carriage of the Falcon, and lots of jokey tweets from Abrams. Again, they haven't even wrapped yet.

J.J. NEVER reveals anything about the movies he's filming. He's like the NSA on crack when it comes to revealing anything. Cloverfield, Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, Star Wars, it doesn't matter what the movie is, he doesn't like revealing anything until the movie hits the theaters.
