Got 'em both now!
![]() Also, since I gave the 3D copy of Uprising to my folks, I switched the 4K cases of both films and put in the Bonus Features disc of the original Lenticular blu-ray release, making the 4K UHD of the original film what it was supposed to be. |

Rented this because I didn't really care for the movie much, but now I'm tempted to own it since it looks so drop dead gorgeous. WOW.

Saw this last night on the new C8 and wow.
I thought the HDR1O on my KS8000 was a stunner but man this in DOLBY VISION on the OLED literally blows it out the water. Great movie for sure. |

My copy arrived from Amazon with the slip, so that was a nice surprise. Haven't seen a copy with a slip in stores in forever. The rest of my Black Friday orders were from Best Buy and one already came in sans slip, hope that won't be a trend 'cause a few were the same price on Amazon.
Looking forward to watching this one as I've heard great things about it. Edit: Also I had ordered when the price was $9.99 and now it's dropped to $9, sent an email to Amazon and they refunded me the $0.99. I thought this was pretty standard procedure, however they said it's not part of their policy but they made a one time exception, lol. I'm pretty sure this was part of their policy in the past, and sometimes they've done this for me without me even requesting it. Seems kind of odd that I could return something and reorder which would cost them way more money in shipping costs than to just refund the difference. This one is one of those titles being saved for my OLED later this year! It will be first time viewed in 4K, first time ever actually... I hear such great things on the HDR
![]() This goes for Avatar on through to Ice Age (so I can't wait for both those to come to UHD, too) |

Such a shame we have to choose which one to watch, instead of having the best of both worlds had 3D been part of the UHD specs. |

I've decided to start frankensteining my releases together - and will have both 3D and 4K in the one package - and I know it's not a 4K 3D presentation but I'm quite happy with the 3D releases I've watched so far, with many of them seeming like a big step up in clarity (not to mention the awesomeness of 3D itself!) over regular blu ray. Recent convert to home 3D here, but it makes me sad that it's dying out already. Hopefully projector manufacturers keep supporting it in the future.

This disk is still the best example of HDR usage IMO

I would agree that is is one of the more impressive titles I have seen.
As an aside, I have only owned my B7 for about 8 months, but I find myself not noticing HDR in a great deal of the movies I have watched. It's only when I view something on my old V60 Panny (which was no slouch) that I notice how much more "dull" movies look. |
