Talking Universal's final BD art for Mummy movies, Doomsday and Scorpion King!

Click to enlarge, also note the new packaging tagline "The Premiere HI-DEF Movie Experience." Here's a first-look at them:

Did you make these or are these official ones?

Why can't they just have the film's cover art and not plaster it with logos?

I love the ones for both The Mummy and The Mummy Returns! I can't wait for the Blu-ray art for the Jason Bourne movies, especially The Bourne Ultimatum!

Is there any indication in OP that I made them? No. And I like the small banner below, reminds me of Sony's.

They've even got a Tagline "The Premier Hi-Def Movie Experience". I remember in the early goings that neutral studios didn't use a tagline on the package. Kinda funny how Universal, now fully blu, will use one.

They used one for HD DVD too, they just went with the format's slogan.

I ALWAYS look forward to your posts Geonosis!

Though I still hate the banners, they're NOWHERE near as "intrusive" on the cover art as the old "The Look And Sound" swirls...

I'm digging them!

I can't wait to see how atrocious The CGI Rock Scorpion looks on Blu-Ray....it literally made me cringe when I saw it in the theaters...

Thanks Alan

The Scorpion King is not getting re-released on DVD, therefore the BD is just a barebones release. The two Mummy movies are being released as Deluxe Editions with new content. That's why the packaging for SK is the same and does not match up, because it's not a new "Deluxe Edition" release.

I like The Mummy cover. This is the only one I'm contemplating getting. It's good that the Mummy and The Mummy Returns are deluxe editions.

They're Blu-rays, so.....I'm getting them. Actually when all three of them came out, I really liked them all. Especially The Mummy. If it hadn't come out a week and a half before SW:PM, then I would probably have liked it more. And yes, I do like all the SW movies, including the prequel. I'll skip Doomsday though.

I wonder if the third Mummy movie will have similar cover art to the first two when it comes out on Blu-ray? Plus I have a feeling Universal will be double-dipping with these. They might come out with a box-set.
