Most of the new Mos Eisley scene worked, i just wish there was some other way of having the audience distracted from the Landspeeder driving past than the damn loading droid smacking the other bot to the floor. And less Ronto's in front of the camera!

Lucas is such a strange guy. He knows changing the Han shot first scene was terrible and that no one liked it. But he can't admit it and change it back. Instead, he just continued to tinker with it making it more and more closer to the original version

Nice way to start your Sunday (!)

Such an iconic villain in movies needed the imposing presence of a big guy - Dave Prowse was your man.

I also remember he had a small role in A Clockwork Orange.

Plus the monster in The Horror of Frankenstein / Monster from Hell - I think two underrated entries in the Hammer series.

I met Prowse at a Star Wars convention in the 90s, still got his signature somewhere. He was very nice in person.

He came to our school back in the day as the green cross code man.
Don't remember to much about it tbh, apart from that he was huge.
R.I.P Dave, a real gentle giant.

Me too around the same time. I'd been up all night in a local warehouse surrounded by strobing lights and challenging music. Not my proudest moment.
