Network, if you are reading this (we're sure you remember us: the guys who do full reviews of your stuff, as opposed to technical ones) PLEASE get a Blu of British commercials out there!

This stuff is like catnip to us, and would make a terrific buy for the devoted, the curious and for use as the ultimate party-tape!

Alright? Not -alf!
That would be great. A nice companion to the 'Charlie Says' compilation of public information films too.

EDIT: Beaten to it.

It's that time of year folks, the 7 day summer sale has just started. As expected their site is being stupendously slow:

http://networkonair.com/features/201...8/summer-sale/

Also, Hammer completists may be interested to learn that the Love Thy Neighbour movie is out on Blu-ray next Monday:

Dammit, dunno what to get this time. Still haven't watched To Die For from the last sale (and could've saved 90p...lol). Is it me or this is the biggest percentage off to date? Usually 40% off, but this time it's 50% off...

Considering these:

This Sporting Life
The Four Feathers
The Medusa Touch
The Lady Vanishes
2 Days in New York
The Last Seduction
Richard III
This Happy Breed

I know The Last Seduction has dodgy PQ, but what are the others like?

Darn, the vinyl LPs aren't included in the sale. Still plenty of other stuff to waste money on however...

Only have Medusa Touch out of those and the PQ is fine.

I think the biggest percentage was 60% but that was only for the ITV 60 sale. Still a massive bargain on some of the TV shows. Prisoner was under £14.

You're being too kind. I've never known it this slow - most of the time it won't even load, let alone allow you to put anything in your cart. But it'll probably settle down in a couple of days.

Ah yeah, I got it for like £12. Forgot about that!

I'd bet it's because somebody put it up on HotUKDeals. Ah well, I probably won't order 'til next week anyway as there are a couple of Arrow titles I'm mulling over in their sale.

Shame Professionals mkIV is too new to be in the sale, maybe next time.

The Persuaders is a steal at £24. The show is fantastic, and the quality of the set is first class. Highly recommended if you like a bit of light-hearted action adventure.

90p? I should be so lucky. If I had waited to buy all the stuff from Network I haven't watched yet I could have saved £100 if not more hundreds! Yes that means a lot of stuff unwatched and yes I have a or many problems lol

How does Thief of Bagdad look? I'm thinking of getting that one, Bad Timing, Things to Come, maybe a few more. Any suggestions?

The best it will unless it's restored and put out by someone else. Worth getting in my opinion!

Bad Timing and Things to Come are great choices. I'd also recommend getting Black Narcissus, Capricorn One, The Ipcress File, The Lodger, The Man With the Golden Arm, Odd Man Out, The Red Balloon/White Mane, Robbery, The Shout, To Die For, Unearthly Stranger, and The Prisoner: The Complete Series - if you don't have any of them already, that is!

Must have shipped early. Network list it as 11th July.

All StudioCanal if I remember rightly, which with Network (as far as I know) being the only company who licenses from them means there's actually a chance blu-rays could be in the works.
