I believe the following blu-ray releases are missing a thumbnail on the first page:

The Suspect (1944)
So Evil My Love (1948)
Yield to the Night (1956)
Nightfall (1956)

As always, a pleasure to visit and read this thread.

You're welcome!

It seems that My Gun Is Quick (1957) blu-ray is missing a thumbnail too.

And I'm not sure if The Criminal/Concrete Jungle (1960) is considered "noir" enough by many.

Worth purchasing since the stateside releases of Private Hell 36, Hollywood Story, and City That Never Sleeps have zero extras. Probably the same transfers though.

Cool announcement - though, I wonder if sales will be as good as the first one considering the other one had 2 really big, previously unreleased titles on it (Detective Story and Alias Nick Beal).

Despite being a big fan of Imogen Smith's commentaries and of City That Never Sleeps, I think I'll have to pass on this one. With the superior titles in the first box set, I had troubles justifying the $100USD.

Very cool though we're getting a Blu-ray premiere of Plunder in the Sun! I wonder what other noirs Imprint has licensed

I feel the same way. I'd love to pick up this set, but the price is really holding me back. I purchased the first one without hesitation, and while it's a good set, it really pales next to what Indicator are doing with their sets (especially for the price).

Yeah I'm pretty much skipping the Imprint label altogether. I suspect the vast majority of the titles they're putting out that I'd be interested in will over time have a US or UK release at a more affordable price.

I see that Kino has their Vol. II, III and IV Film Noir sets currently on sale. Anyone recommend one of those volumes? I'm interested in dipping my toe into those era of Noir films....

I'd go with II first then IV and lastly III.
Best on II was Female Animal IMO, followed by Thunder on the Hill.
III has The Sleeping City that I've enjoyed several times.
IV's strong point was Calcutta, closely followed by 6 Bridges to Cross.

It's weird that some of the extra features are only on either the blu-ray or the DVD.

Because they're not upgrading the DVD. It will stay the same one. And I guess some of the features on it aren't licensed to be on the Blu-ray, or maybe they just aren't crazy about them so didn't include them in the upgrade.

I have the Fuller Eureka set which has the same restoration as the upcoming Criterion. I guess I’ll need to compare extras. Would like the Smith interview, but I can’t see triple dipping.

What master does the Eureka/MoC edition of Pickup On South Street use? I bought that very recently.

It looks to be an older one compared to the Criterion release.

Here's two shots from the same scene

Eureka

Criterion (from their product page, potentially not what the BD will look like)

It's hard to tell because they cropped off the black bars (not to mention the fugly JPG compression) but it seems Criterion might of tweaked the existing 4K master.

I don't own the Criterion DVD but, for whatever reason, Eureka used the old HD master of "Pickup on South Street" for excerpts in their "Fuller at Fox" video essay on "House of Bamboo". Here's an exact frame comparison between all three ("Fuller at Fox" essay top, MoC middle, and Criterion bottom):
[Show spoiler]

The old HD master is slightly zoomed in compared to the MoC and Criterion.

From the Eureka website, regarding their release of Pickup on South Street:

"New 1080p presentation of the film from the new 4k restoration, on the Blu-ray"

I made a similar post in the Criterion thread, but with Nightmare Alley (1947) and Pickup On South Street (1953) now being added to the CC -- and also with Crossfire (1947) hitting streets today from WAC -- what are the top tier noirs still NOT available on Region A Blu? Perhaps the following? Did I miss any? Note I've never actually seen any of these, just going off reputation?

D.O.A. (1949)
High Sierra (1941)
Thieves' Highway (1949)
Fallen Angel (1945)
