FYI:

Just downloaded the TCM app for iOS. If you have a cable login (with select providers - most of the big ones) you watch both the east and west coast feed of TCM live as well as a large catalogue of on demand titles! This is great news for those of us who have cut the cord, but happen to have a friends cable login.

I watched the Olive Films Blu-ray of The Strange Affair of Uncle Harry last night, and shared my thoughts in the User Review section. This particular film is a casualty of the Production Code, to say the least, but it's still an effective and suitably twisted path through Dark City. George Sanders and Geraldine Fitzgerald are both fun to watch, and their interactions make up the key noir moments.

Just finished watching The Postman Always Rings Twice for the first time and I must say Lana Turner's introduction is a stunner! Good Lord!

Lana Turner is amazing in The Postman Always Rings Twice.

I also like the brief scene with Audrey Totter.

After watching her life story that was an extra on the disc, I'm not surprised she played the role as well as she did. She didn't have much luck finding a suitable husband in life and art.

Of the ones I have seen, probably Double Indemnity. Although, A Touch of Evil and The Maltese Falcon are just as good.
