Remember once you are linked AT THE BEGINNING (in the plane) you are linked until you wake up/seadtive times out. So no, they are not "telepathically" dreaming, they do not have to because THEY WERE LINKED in the plane and will always be linked until they wake up.

That doesn't really address my question, I don't think. Did the movie actually portray that structure as some sort of fortified hospital (beyond the fact that Fischer's dad was there)? For some reason, I don't remember anything particularly indicating that it was a hospital.

That's what I'm getting at. If I'm remembering correctly, I don't think it was a hospital at all. It was a fortress protecting the idea that would be incepted. The scene that Fischer finds deep inside physically reflects the scene we see earlier of his dad's deathbed and that wasn't in a hospital either, as I recall.

Again, maybe I'm just forgetting some details that explicitly showed it as a hospital, but referring to it as such has been confusing me.

Was probably just the best/most convenient way most of the members could think of to refer to it as.

I was kinda hoping they used more of the pounding/droning theme that is featured in the previews, but overall i thought the music was really good anyways.

I'm still trying to figure out what i thought of the movie though.

They specifically state at one point that the third level is going to be a hospital. Personally, I also agree that it looks more like a military bunker. But, it is referred to as a hospital by the characters at some point when the plan is being formed and the levels are being architected.
