First Snow (Sony Pictures) has been announced on DVD for November 13. Any idea why this hasn't been announced for BD?

If they come out in the next 18 months, I am afraid it will be HD DVD exclusive. They are distributed by Paramount and Dreamworks. I am hoping they will hold off on their releases until they can come out on Blu-ray too.

Lets not forget that Gladiator was a Superbit import title on dvd regardless of Para*****/ Dreamworks being the distributor.

King Kong was awesome, but generally under appreciated by most people because it was a character driven action movie, and most people just wanted the action parts. It has the coolest fight scene ever put on film (Kong vs. V-rex). Unfortunately, it was released by Universal and distributed on DVD by Universal Home Entertainment, so we may be waiting a while for the Blu version.

At first, it was advertised to be about him sleeping with all these girls, and whenever they hook up with him, they find their true love. Now, all the commercials are just about him and Jessica Alba and her being clumsy. I hope they didn't change the movie because the first set of previews were more appealing IMO.

The movie didn't change, the story is how he is a woman magnet, but when he meets Jessica Alba he only wants to date her. Then the fun begins as she is accident prone and all the crazy stuff happens. They only changed the promos.

well i just checked rotten tomatoes on this one, and it's coming in at a whopping 8% rating. sounds like this movie is pretty terrible. guess we aren't landing another good blu exclusive here.

I actually saw an early screening on Tuesday of this movie and was expecting just a couple of laughs...to my suprise it was actually pretty damn funny. There are a couple of scenes in the movie that are instant classics...but plenty of laughs if you enjoy Dane Cook's brand of humor.

I have to go see this movie as it was mostly filmed where I live (Edmonton, AB, Canada...also in Vancouver BC.)

Plus Dane Cook is the funniest comedian I've ever seen...not as good of an actor though at least in Employee of the Month and Waiting but still pretty funny.

In any case, I don't think the movie changed, they do things like that with advertising all the time. Keeps people from getting bored before the movie even comes out.

I haven't actually seen "King Kong" either, but I was talking about "The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters". it's a documentary about the 2 greatest Donkey Kong players in the world. It looks hilarious...check out the trailer on their website...http://www.billyvssteve.com/
