I would expect Raiders and the rest of the Indy movies in around May 2008, to coincide with the release of Indiana Jones and the City of Gods in theaters.

Lucas is keen on tying home release schedules to theater releases like that.

You're probably right, but it's not just George Lucas that likes that, the studios like it also. If they release it at the same time as the newest sequel, people are far more likely to buy the prequels as well.

In case people didn't understand the above comment about it being paramount and not subject to the exclusivity agreement, its because the Indiana Jones movies are directed by Steven Spielberg and in the agreement his movies are specifically exempt.

Paramount was asked specifically about the Indiana Jones trilogy when the Paramount/DreamWorks deal happened and they said they would have to release it on both Blu-Ray & HD-DVD due to Spielberg wanting to support Blu-Ray. I think the article was on highdefdigest.com. They didn't mention a date but it would make sense it would be sometime next year and based on all indications would be format neutral.

Terminator 3? Would like to pick this up as a trilogy set. The suspense is killing me.

I'm going to future about 3 years and picking up all the movies I want NOW, and then some. Ghoster Rider 2, Spider-man 4, Iron Man, The 6th Element.

I'd love to see Young Frankenstein come to BLu-ray. Never picked up the DVD as the original was not anamorphic.

Any word if Fox is bring The Edge to Blu-ray? I love this movie. I caught it on HD on HBO and it looked pretty good. It is filled with tons of scenic shots that is perfect for HD.

Of Course! Who doesn't...please don't answer if you don't.

Does anyone know if "The King of Kong" will be released on BD? I couldn't find the company distributing the film...did Acclaim put it out? Did anyone happen to see it and if so what are your thoughts? It looked really funny to me!
