for a while, HBO would have them all run in order (I-VI) on there HD channel. I used to have them on my DVR until I moved and couldn't get comcast right away

I have them all on DVD, but I'd rebuy the entire collection on blu ray. I love star wars.

I said, "rule of thumb", not "etched in stone". For the most part, if you place an order on Amazon, and you get the little email from them, the product is for real. If not, it's Star Wars on Blu-ray.

I know that Paramount is hd dvd exclusive for now, so it wouldn't apply to blu, but I saw that they just released a new edition of braveheart dvd. It would only make since that they would release it on hd dvd for sale during Christmas. Maybe they are holding it back for when they start doing blu-ray again?

You haven't heard? It is coming out next week. All original theatrical versions plus the "enhanced" versions. Full interactive, web-enabled extras, and what is by all accounts the best PQ and AQ yet released.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Nobody knows when they are coming out. When there is any info at all it is a safe bet you will see it here.
