Hello All was just wondering when THE NIGHTMARE ON ELM ST MOVIES WILL COME OUT ON BLU-RAY AS ALL THE ROCKY MOVIES AND RAMBO MOVIES AND ALL THE FRIDAY THE 13th MOVIES. WE NEED SOME MOVIE CLASSICS. STUDIOS I BEG YOU RELEASE THESE TITLES ON BLU-RAY. would buy them in a heartbeat

I want this movie to come to blu-ray horribly, its a classic movie that everyone should see. How do i find out if this can eventually come on bluray

hello all was just wondering if there is any info on when the matrix trilogy and wizard of oz and all the friday the 13th movies as well as all the rambo movies and all the halloween movies and all the nightmare on elm st movies and howard the duck as weoll as the goonies and the legend of billie jean be released on blu-ray i love these movies hoping they will be released soon.

another great pick if i disney there will be a release once year of the clssics i think march we are getting 101 dalmations if iam correct and then i think its sleeping beauty disney is starting all over again fantasia will sure to follow considering we have never recieved a platuim edition of fantasia

I have heard that Star Wars (I - VI) are coming out on Blu-ray. Does anyone know when this will be? I really can not wait for them to come out. I have done some searching and I haven't been able to pin down a date. Can someone help on this?

prob wont be seeing them for awhile. lucas is very slow when it comes to releasing his movies. im sure hes waiting for blu ray to become more mainstream and into more peoples homes. bummer i know

What are the circumstances surrounding you hearing this rumor. Was it an article, a friend, an insider? As of yet there has been no mention of it on the boards. Except that it is unlikely given how long it took Lucas to bring them to DVD. That being said, perhaps his recent work with Spielberg on Indiana Jones 4 has had some impact, but that too is unlikely. Although I would love to see them on Blu-ray, I don't expect it to be soon.

I wouldn't surprise me if we had to wait 3 or 4 years for starwars on bluray. We may never see them on bluray lucas may wait for microsoft's download system to be up and running and just go that route. But he may also realise the films are the fuel in the starwars empire and if people are not watching them they are watching something else and loosing interest.

I'm not expecting Star Wars to be released on Blu-ray for some time. Lucas probably thinks he hasn't milked DVD for all it's worth yet.

It took forever for SW to appear on DVD - and when it did it was only the "modified" versions.

When it does come out on BD I want the original theatrical versions dammit! Are you listening Georgie old boy?
