I see that you bought the Ultimate James Bond Collection with the black packaging. So to amend my earlier post, the Craig films in your set will already come in a 5-disc Viva Elite because it also houses the bonus disc, so you would have to switch it with a 6-disc Viva Elite if you eventually wanted to add Bond 25.

In any event, yes, it's a good deal. If you don't want to keep the digital copies, you could also re-sell them and recoup some of your money.

To make a long story short, Never Say Never Again was a James Bond movie but because it was not produced by Eon Productions it isn't considered "official" so it's not included in sets like this. The North American blu-ray release is out of print, but if you're interested in picking it up, it's available region free from other countries, such as Germany:

https://www.amazon.de/James-Bond-Sag-niemals-Blu-ray/dp/B00B7XHGP6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1498363194&sr=8-1&keywords=never+say+never+again+bluray

And as you were unaware of Never Say Never Again, you might not also be aware of the original movie version of Casino Royale from 1967, which was also another rival production but was made as a comedy. Again, the North American blu-ray is out of print but is available from other markets if you want to check it out.

A twisted part of me would love to see this movie.
That would've been a much better movie than Diamonds Are Forever.

I will definitely consider these. Might be a way to complete my Bond collection which would be pretty neat as I doubt we will get a 4K set any time soon.

Don't forget teh Barry Nelson/Peter Lorre adaptation of Casino Royale for American television. Or is that an extra on the sets now?

I held onto my '67 Casino Royale DVD for that extra (along with the other extras that were exclusive to that disc; also, the 2-disc Die Another Day DVD for the same reason). I don't believe it's available on the sets.

I grabbed the German imports of Never Say Never Again and Casino Royale 1967 for about $20 shipped. I think I'm good now. Don't feel like I really need any other versions or cuts of any of those movies and will settle with what I got.

Never Say Never Again takes a lot of hate from Bond fans, but I've always found it entertaining and Klaus Maria Brandauer and Barbara Carrera are a great villain team (Carrera overshadows poor Kim Basinger as surely as Luciana Paluzzi overshadowed Claudine Auger in Thunderball). Honestly, I'd have liked to have seen Max Von Sydow play Blofeld in an Eon production.

No it's not available on the bluray sets but the version on those DVDs cuts off the ending, still it's better than nothing. It's an interesting curio but I've never had much time for it.

I also like NSNA. I really enjoy the fact that it presents Bond as an older man, a 60s relic doing one last job in the 80s where he's a bit behind the times. Plus the locations are gorgeous. The video arcade is a bit tragic but what are you gonna do?

I haven't seen NSNA since probably a TNT cable airing in the 90s or something. I should really see it again soon, but the BD is out of print and I just keep pushing off dealing with it.

I also haven't seen it in a while, I think since those OO7 Days of Christmas TBS Superstation used to do. Haven't really had a burning desire to revisit it, either.

It's not all bad, but as a James Bond it falls short. The scenes with Rowan Atkinson are awful. The contemporary Octopussy is way better and more fun.

For all the heat Octopussy takes (from insufferable literary Bond purists -- of which I am one -- and otherwise), I've always found it an enjoyable and satisfying way to spend two hours. This is particularly true relative to some of the other Moore Bonds. Moreover, apart from a couple of glaring moments, I don't even think it's as silly as its reputation suggests.

I love Octopussy, it's a million times better than A View to a Kill and has all the great Roger Moore Bond stuff in it. I think the people who really hate it just dislike the Moore era in general.

Octopussy is definitely the better film, but I still enjoy NSNA. Yes, the Rowan Atkinson scenes are bad but most of the rest of the cast is great.

I can't remember if I posted this here before or not, but has anyone ever noticed that in Octopussy, Bond is issued a pen containing acid and a wristwatch with a viewer just like in the "unofficial" Bond film Casino Royale; and in Goldeneye Bond is issued an exploding pen and a watch with a laser, just like in the "unofficial" Never Say Never Again?

MisterLime said that the only Bond film available for licencing is Casino Royale '67, so I think your best bet is importing the German release.

Octopussy would have been a perfect send-off for Moore if he had chose to leave after that. I think it's a quintessential Moore Bond film, right down to the hot air balloon with the Union Jack on it.

I've honestly always felt that Octopussy was the worst in the entire series and I enjoy the rest of the Moore era(AVTAK is stupid fun in my opinion). It's the most generic and boring. Diamonds are Forever is definitely the worst in terms of quality, but it's so bad that it's fun to watch. Octopussy is just dull.
