Actually, yes. So the "black version" in the first post contains a book of James Bond posters and also a bonus disc with some more special features including the documentary "Everything or Nothing".

The stripped-down "white version" just contains the movies.

The white box contains all bonus features not including Everything or Nothing documentary.

Yes, the bonus features that are on the individual movie discs but it doesn't contain the Bonus Disc which is the point I was making.

I can see how what I wrote can be misinterpreted as containing just the movies and nothing else though.

What's more confusing is the white box has no mention of it featuring bonus content whereas the black box does.

I snagged the white box version from Second Spin for $54, using their current 30% off code.

I’m tempted to sell my white box and individual disc of Spectre and get the black one, but I bought the UV code online a while ago, so there may not be a point. I wish they’d release EON separately.

Wait a minute. My copy of The James Bond Collection arrived from Second Spin. It's the white box version, but it has all 24 films.

The first version was released in 2015, before SPECTRE even hit theaters. It was reissued a year later with the SPECTRE blu-ray just as an upgrade. Same content otherwise.

I have that set. It’s nice, and I sold my Bond 50 to avoid taking up space. I wish this had the extras disc with EON and the UV code, but I can’t have everything. I just hope the disc cases never, ever, ever break, or I’m SO screwed.

No you’re not, replacement ten-disc and four-disc Viva Elite cases are easy to find online. That’s one of the advantages of having sets in plastic cases as opposed to digibooks, digipacks, etc. If those break then it’s a much bigger hassle.

Wonder if those extras will ever show up individually? I seriously doubt it. MAYBE EON, to be honest, I’m kind of surprised that never did show as a doc on video any other way. I remember seeing it on TV once.

Have all the Bond films been fully remastered? I remember after the first DVD sets were released there were issues with some of the early films (haloing and other artifacts etc) and, unless I'm getting the details mixed up, not all the films were given the full remaster treatment. These are #1 on my UHD upgrade wishlist. Right now I've got a patchwork series of Blu-rays from various companies and would love a new definitive set.

Many of them were given 4k remasters waaaaaaay back, in the very early days of doing that. Those were the editions originally put on DVD and BD. Spy Who Loved Me was a later 4k upgrade, which is on BD. There were still many which were older masters though. Also the original 4k masters look pretty bad now compared to a modern job.

That said the rumor... or perhaps confirmed, not sure... is that all of them were given new 4k remasters somewhat recently. These are not on disc though. One would guess the release of the next new Bond movie might spur them to finally put some UHDs out.
