Wouldn't it be awesome if a James Bond film was actually set on the planet of Hoth, and instead of the usual car James pilots a snow speeder. And he has to team up with Luke Skywalker to defeat Kilo Ren? That would be so cool, you'd have a James Bond/Star Wars cross-over movie. It could be directed by Steven Spielberg and would be awesome.

Also I agree with everyone about Die Another Day.

That would be a hell of a thing.

Exactly. Actually one of my favorite Bond moments.

Yeah, it has its moments. And honestly, a lot of the ramping and editing techniques feel at home with something that Peter Hunt would have done. I don't hate it. I don't hate any Bond movie. That clip is an excellent example of what I would like to see in a Bond movie though. Brosnan lets out a little chuckle and smirk at how clever he is when he flips the car. He's having fun in the role and the film is allowing him to do that. I miss that in Craig's films.

The rest of it is just TRASH.
I think it's fine until it moves to the ice palace. That's when it really goes to insane levels of poor quality. Cuba was alright. It's never a great movie though, even at the start.

It was too outlandish and comical.

Tomorrow Never Dies was my favourite from the Brosnan era.

Brosnan is my second favorite Bond but Die Another Day would be my least favorite of his movies. Still not nearly as bad as people make it out to be with plenty of good moments throughout. I'd probably put it in the bottom 4-5 but wouldn't rank it as the worst.

Oh and the Cuba part certainly isn't bad

Berry has been sexy in other movies, but I don't dig that short haircut in DAD. I thought she looked like a male to female transgendered. Then again, next to Rosamund, every woman in the movie could have been a boy for all I noticed or cared.

Agreed even with its weaker second half.

Richards kills world and goldeneye may be the most overrated bond ever as it aged horribly.

Whoa, now, that's a little extreme. I didn't like her with short hair, either (I typically prefer women have long hair, with some exceptions). But...it's still Halle Berry.

By the way, whenever I see Rosamund Pike, now, I can't help but think of her in Jack Reacher.

Lord have mercy.

I believe she was pregnant during production.

Her hair is consistently awful in most movies.

Didn't like Halle Berry at all in Die Another Day.

Rosamund Pike owned her in every possible way.

Kinda like Die Another Day best out of the Brosnan series, I dunno. In the late '90's (when I was MUCH younger too) I liked Tomorrow Never Dies the best, but I think I mistook how complicated the plot was for being complex, now it just seems a bit dry. I do feel one of those should have had a different title, they were too similar with "dying" and "days" and whatnot. And the title "The World Is Not Enough" always sounded dumb to me, the movie's fine but I think it's the worst Bond title of them all by far!

It's Bond's family motto, I believe.

That's correct, as explained both in the novel and film, ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE.

His family had a lot of strange names for things, such as calling their estate "Skyfall" for no other reason than it might sound cool if their son was featured in a movie about it 50 years later.

Do you not think that 'Skyfall', is a much dumber title, though?
