There are two sets, the more expensive one has digital copy codes and a book included. Both sets are the same discs, and the same discs as the Bond 50 set as well.

I understand that there is a BD in the Bond 50 set that features all the opening song/credits (?). Does anyone know if that disc is available separately anywhere? So far an eBay search has yet to yield results.

Are the digital copies that come with the DVD in HD or SD. Slip cover and sticker state digital HD. I just want to be sure.

Doesn't the more expensive Black set include an exclusive bonus disc not included in the white version?

FYI both the Black and White sets in the UK come wth Digital Copies.

It was only included with the Bond 50 set.

It is not available separately. The only places to find it are in the Bond 50 collection and the new James Bond Ultimate Collection (the one in the black box that was an Amazon exclusive for a time, but is now also available through FoxConnect.com - currently $149.99).

The new bonus disc includes most of the features from the old bonus disc (the 62-minute title sequence montage and 7 very short featurettes), plus 3 new items: a 10-minute recap of the first 3 Daniel Craig films, a 9-minute overview of the Spectre organization in the Bond films, and the 98-minute history of the franchise Everything or Nothing.

I wanted to know if anyone had purchased the 007: The Roger Moore Collection Vol 1 and 2. Do they cover all his Bond films. He's my favorite and the only Bond I care about. Wondered if they were worth getting?

Yes, they have all seven of his movies (the first three in vol. 1 and the remaining four in vol. 2).

The artwork on these new re-releases are fugly. BUT I've been finding them cheap, so whatever.

The original poster art on the Bond movies (especially the older ones) are so freaking beautiful....why can't they release them with that art?!

I still have a few of the Connery Bonds on VHS with the original poster cover art. One thing VHS definitely got right.

Any chance that the missing 9 or so will get matching SteelBooks?

The James Bond Ultimate Collector's Edition is now only $125 (58% off) at FoxConnect, presumably to tie in with the release of Spectre this weekend.

Note that since this item is over $100, it most likely will not be eligible for the 50% discount during the next FoxConnect flash sale (the week of November 22, I'm guessing), so $125 might be the lowest price you'll see on FoxConnect for the rest of the year.

Cool. Just ordered it. Now to let my wife know what she's got me for Christmas.

2 things are keeping me from buying this.

1) I'm positive an updated version will be released next year with Spectre, but for the same price or lower.

2) If Spectre is truly Craig's last film, then I'll get this set for sure to have the Connery-Craig eras in a space-friendly package. But if Craig comes out and says "aw gee, I was just kidding about not wanting to do any more Bond movies", and the studio announces that it will do another one with him, then I'll wait to get the set that will inevitably be released when that movie comes out. It'd drive me nuts to have 4 Craig movies in the set and one out. In fact, that's the main reason I never bought the Bond 50 set.

No, it isn't. The "black box" Ultimate version, which is $125 at FoxConnect, is currently $179.99 at Best Buy.

The "white box" version, which has only the 23 films (no digital versions, no bonus disc, no poster book), is $99.99 at Best Buy.

My bad.
Didn't realize there were 2 different sets.

Yup, the Bond 50 w/ Skyfall came out roughly 12 months after the first Bond 50. I'm hoping for an ultimate edition w/ Spectre in September 2016.
