As tempting as this is, since all of the Bond movies have been remastered in 4K (except for Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace), I'll be waiting a few more years until the UltraHD blu-ray set.

Love the Steelbooks -- great idea to use the credit sequences for the artwork -- and the packaging of the Ultimate set looks great also. Still I'd have to get in on a price drop before unloading the 50 box.

This is 100% of the reason that I care that this release exists.

Except for the original Casino Royale, I already have all of the 007 movies.
As tempting as that Bonus Disk is, it isn't worth that price tag!

Though I'm curious if the 50 Collection Bonus Disk is the basis for this Bonus Disk, just with the 3 added items on it now...

I'm wondering if the Bond 50 set will get scarce soon. It's not available on Foxconnect anymore and Amazon doesn't appear to be selling it directly either.

Yea, what to do, what to do. Do they plan on doing this every 2-4 years when a New JB movie is coming out?

I already own a good chunk of them now anyway.

these, plus, the Craig ones.

The price has now dropped $90 from $299.99 to 209.99 and so perhaps by 9/15 we'll see a day 1 price of $199.99. A good thing for those who have yet to purchase the Bond 50 collection. We shall keep an eye on the price!

Yea, but as you know, the BOND 50 set had prices as low as $99, right? I'm sure anyone contemplating this new set (myself included ), will be waiting for a $99-110 price range.

I'm happy with my Bond 50 set. I don't care about the UV digital copies or the extra features. There are so many good extras on this set, I cannot imagine these new ones being better than them.

Should have just made it pure white and thrown in a felt-tip pen, so you can draw your own cover...

I might have made a mistake, I think it might be for the DVD set.

No I wasn't mistaken, the Blu-ray set has the same artwork:

Those are shots of the six Bonds across the cover -- yes, just like Bond 50 in all but name. (IIRC even the package shape is similar to the Australian release of Bond 50.) Just from the poses I can confirm Connery, Moore & Craig are all in their correct positions, and I'm 95% certain on Brosnan. (Edit: Further confirmed by looking at the JB Hi-Fi photo; enlarging it slightly, I identified all but Dalton by face alone.)

I was more making a joke about the vastness of white available.

I actually like the white. For some reason it instantly reminded me of this:

Which I think is really nice, and I'm not really one for packaging.

I agree that the new Bond set could have more going on thought.

The six Bonds make that kind of statement too, in a way.
